ACS Products for Musicians and Audiophiles

Hearing damage occurs as a result of exposure time, the average noise level and the peak level of very loud sounds. As a musician, you know how many hours you spend performing, but a ringing in the ears (tinnitus), a temporary dulled sense of hearing or an intolerance to some loud sounds are warning signs that you have overloaded your hearing. Protecting your hearing properly will help you avoid an irreversible problem that can’t be remedied.

Advanced Communications Solutions have become the music industry’s preferred supplier of custom-moulded hearing protectors and in-ear-monitors.

Our ACS personal in-ear-monitors are individually hand-built from non-allergenic, medical grade silicone to provide extreme comfort and durability. ACS were the first to use silicones in preference to the acrylic and vinyl materials still used today by most other monitor manufacturers.

Christening of the T3

Image

The T3 was so named after its review in T3 magazine in 1999. Nearly ten years on its still one of the best sounding in-ear monitors available, with almost complete isolation and incredible clarity from a single driver. With a decade of heritage, the T3 is still amongst the strongest IEM's around.

Where can I buy ACS products?

ACS products are available from a nationwide network of Audiologists as well as directly from us at our offices in Banbury. You'll need to make an appointment to have impressions taken which will then be sent on to us to allow us to manufacture your custom-fit products. To find your nearest Audiologist see the complete list on our Find A Dealer page. Please note that production time is always dependent upon orders received.  The skills and experience involved in making our hand-crafted products are not acquired overnight so employing more staff, whilst increasing our labour force, does not bring an immediate reduction in production time - please bear with us in times of increased demand for our products

How do we custom fit?

All ACS custom-fit products require an impression of your ear for us to work from. Having an impression taken is a quick and painless process that takes less than 10 minutes to complete. One of our network of audiologists will first examine your ear to ensure there is no excessive wax, then a foam plug is applied to create a seal in front of your eardrum. Finally, a soft silicone impression material is injected into the ear and allowed to set for 5 to 8 minutes before being gently removed.
